Sean Gallagher returns with three new virtual classes. A recording of each of the classes will be available for 7 days and is sent to everyone registered for the class to allow for extra practice time between classes.

 

Pilates Roman Gladiator Standing Work™ Class
10 Thursdays 1-1:30pm EDT
Starts March 25

In this class we will learn Joe’s Roman Gladiator Standing Work™ as exercise. You will learn the standing progressions and transitions from the first to the last exercise as an continuous flow to develop a better awareness of weight shifting between the lower and upper extremities through the powerhouses to develop poise and posture that emulates the Gladiator physique that Joe was interested in providing. “ By following my system – you will not only attain perfect health – you will approach every day nearer to the ancient, classical ideal of beauty” this class will help you add to you standing mat options as well as supplement your apparatus workout. Safe Spinal Rotation Progressions
10 Tuesdays 1-1:30pm EDT

In this class we will do safe spinal rotation progressions using the Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda chair and Ladder/Spine Corrector barrels. Each class will be a different apparatus for the first 5 classes and then we will repeat each class again for learning and integration into your practice. Each class will start with a spinal rotation exercise that is part of Sean’s Neuro-Musculo-Skeletal Alignment™ exercises that is a pre pilates program that facilitates an organic weight placement patterning that will enhance your somatic-sensory alignment and weight placement for this progression into the developmental sequencing of Joe’s exercises. Use your body to inform your brain as we find the best balance within the imbalance in each of us and then learn how to apply the knowledge to your clients. Register Online Here

 

Standing Mat Class
10 Tuesdays 12:30-1pm EDT

This archival standing mat class is ½ hour of Joe’s standing mat exercises with an added variation from one of his archival pictures with focus on Neuro-Musculo-Skeletal Alignment™ using weight placement patterning to facilitate sensory alignment and weight placement for standing on one or two extremities as required in Joe’s standing exercises.
